Grapes variety: 100% Ciliegiolo
Vinification: after a manual harvest and selection of the grapes, is submitted to alcoholic fermentation without any addition of yeast and the maceration is in stainless steel, under temperature controlled not higher than 27°C for 18-20 days.
Ageing: in French oak barriques for 6 months and in glass for other 6 months
Winemaker remarks: deep ruby red colour wine, at firslty dominates cherry, then it shows red ripen fruits’ sensations and spicy notes. Pleasant taste, the flavour is lightly elegant, well balanced and of long persistence. The aftertaste confirms the aroma.
Abbinamenti: great with meat, grilled meat, game and mature cheese. To try with dried biscuits or cantuccini.
